Always been active, according to my husband I never stop.
One time on a trip to Palm Springs, California we had a 3 day pass to one of the local gyms where the average age of a member was 60. Having attended multiple yoga classes where the silver group led the flexibility and relaxation charts made me realised that there is so much potential at home for giving back to the older generation by keeping a gentle exercise and meditation routine.
I wanted to do something that will keep me active at the age of 80 and beyond.
It was that light bulb moment that made me enquire about a yoga foundation then yoga teacher course. British Wheel of Yoga offered the depth of knowledge and flexibility that I could weave into my schedule.
After many years in corporate life, almost 12 years of practice settling with 3 different teacher styles it was time to start the journey of my own.
